Hello,
We are Vince and Tina DiTanna, the owners of DiTanna Shore House. We have been married for 35 years and currently enjoy running our rental business together. In our free time we like to go to the movies, search for treasures at yard sales, host family and friend events and volunteer our time to many local charities. We have been blessed with 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren who we love spending time with.
When our children were younger, we enjoyed taking them to Ocean City and dreamed of one day being able to own our own home and rental property in the charming city. We loved how family oriented the town was and all of the unique shops, delicious dining facilities and fun activities there were to do. During a family vacation in the summer of 1989, we were lucky enough to find our dream home. Although the home needed a lot of work, we saw it as a “diamond in the rough”. We knew that with a lot of love, prayer and hard work we could turn it into something we could be proud to share with friends, family and guests. Luckily with Vince’s many years of experience in the construction industry, we were able to fully renovate this “diamond in the rough” into a beautiful 4-unit Victorian style home.
Over
the years, we have regarded our shore home as a blessing.
We cherish the memories it has offorded and the friendships it has
facilitated with our guests. Many of these guests consider our
home their own home away from home and have become close
friends, returning to rent weekly year after year.

Last May my family (myself, husband, daughter, and my 2 grandchildren) stayed at the DiTanna's shore house (upstairs on the left). It was great!!!! The apartment was very clean & bright with a lighthouse motif. Parking was right outside the front door. The street was very quiet at night. It was just an all around perfect place to stay. Plus Tina, Vince and their family were the perfect hosts.

A few years ago I was looking for a summer rental and was tired of going through realtors. For the money that they charge, my wife and I were disappointed. I wanted to try my hand at going through the listings in the newspaper and felt that I might do better on my own, I couldn't do worse. In the past I had been disappointed with some accommodations that were less than adequate.
My wife and I have been going to Ocean City since we were children and, believe me, we have stayed in some places that were less than accommodating, and some (for the money that we had to pay) were down right disappointing.
I called Tina and got a good feeling from our conversation. We decided to take a ride to see the place. From the first time I walked through the door I knew that I was going to enjoy my stay there. The apartment was so cute (and clean!!) and we had everything in it that we needed.
We have stayed at the Di Tanna's a few times and have enjoyed it immensely. Each year they contact us, either by email or by correspondence and they have virtual tours through their web site.
The Di Tanna's are the greatest, but their rentals are fabulous. You feel that you are staying at a friend's place and not just a rental property. You are definitely made to feel at home by such warm and caring people. I would recommend the Di Tanna's summer rentals to anyone who wants something a little more fuzzy and warm.

Memorial day week, My family and I spent in Ocean City at the DiTanna's beach house. It is an incredible home. It was beautiful and freshly renovated. Staying at the DiTanna's home was like visiting family. Ocean City was very relaxing and family oriented. My daughter and I are planning for the same week this year and future years.
